Get Well Soon!

Let's all send some good wishes to Sarah Marion, who will return home tomorrow after undergoing back surgery this week.

Zoo time.

Sarah and I took the boys to the Detroit Zoo last week and it was an adventure! A quick trip (by most standards), but we saw lots of the animals. There's a special "Dinosauria" exhibit through September at the zoo, but it was a bit scary for Lucas. I was outside of the exhibit with Anthony, but Sarah said Lucas moved through there pretty fast!

White Men Can't Jump

Joe was in a White Men Can't Jump basketball tournament over the weekend. Here are a few pics!

This kid loves food.

This is a mild case. A mild, mild case of the "oooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH"s.

Anthony gets really excited when he sees you're about to give him food. Really really excited, when it's something he loves. That's when you get the guttural "OOOOOH."

He must have known he was being taped or something. And he had just woken up. But here's a little snippet of one of my favorite parts of the day.

Claire: How many more bites do I have to eat?

Kirsten: You've only had a couple!

Claire: But I'm full.

Kirsten: I guess you won't have room for dessert then.

Claire: I have a separate dessert compartment. It's empty.
