A long-awaited victory
I suppose it's not nearly as exciting as the Dan v. June Scrabble win, but after a year of playing Maggie in online Scrabble, I've finally won! (And kind of by a lot!)
Part of me almost thinks it was a gift, but I don't think Maggie would ever "let" me win!

Congratulations Kirsten! I know exactly how you feel - I wasn't able to beat mom very often! I'll have to try this online game sometime - everyone seems to like it!
No, Maggie would never let you win. You'd think she would because she's so sweet. But there was a time when I couldn't beat her to save my life and during that time we'd have games where I thought she was easing up on me.... only to have her destroy me at the end.
