Only 48 short years ago in 1960 it was a Sunday much like today...sunny and beautiful. All of us girls were playing outside, some of us playing kickball in the street in front of Grandma and Grandpa Balice's. The car pulls out of the driveway and I asked Mom & Dad where they are going. The reply, "to the hospital to have the baby". No big deal to us...they drive on and we continue with the game. I remember that moment like it was yesterday. In some ways I would like to go back to that sunny Sunday in 1960 but for now I will just hold on to the memories....happy birthday, little brother. Glad Dad was persistent in trying "one more time".
To Sarah and Loren: Happy 4th anniversary. We sure had a lot of fun on your big day. So many things have happened since then,some very sad but some "so very happy" as Lucas would say. All in all, we have been blessed because of your union and most importantly because of those darling boys! Love to you both. gigi
