Happy Birthday, America.

In honor of the Fourth of July, I thought I would include some photos we took when we went to the fireworks for Farmington Hills' 35th birthday the other night.

We decided to get the party started with some bubbles at the house.

The we set out for Farmington Hills, past Claire's bedtime, but she was on Fourth of July kid crack, so it was fine. She got a glow necklace, a Blow-Pop and a few minutes in one of those inflatable castle things.

At the end of the fireworks (even though we had no clue she had any idea where we were) Claire sighed and said, "I love Farmington Hills." It was a good night.

Great photos Kirsten! I tried to take some photos of the fireworks at Disney a few years ago but they didn't look nearly as nice. Looks like Claire had a great time! Hope she slept in the next day :-)
